Who we are
Calvary Academy Hub is the school app for Calvary Academy in North Little Rock, Arkansas. It is operated for the school by Luminate Media.
What the app collects
- Account: your email address, used to sign you in and to link you to your family or staff record.
- Family and student records: names, grade, campus, and household membership. These come from the school's records; the app does not collect them from your device.
- Lunch account activity: balances, payments, and daily lunch marks.
- Alert settings: the low balance level you choose and any phone numbers you add for alerts.
- Messages and posts: what you write to the school, photos or files you attach, and comments and reactions on school posts. Photos you attach are stored privately and shown only to the people in that conversation or class.
- Device token: if you allow notifications, a push token so the school can send you messages, balance alerts, and posting alerts.
What the app does not collect
No location, contacts, photo library access beyond the photos you choose to attach, advertising identifiers, or analytics profiles. No data is sold or shared with advertisers.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Stripe on Stripe's own pages. The app never sees or stores card numbers.
Who can see what
Parents see only their own household. Teachers see whether a student has funds, never a balance, and can message only the families in their classes. Money is visible only to school staff with finance access. School office staff can read conversations between families and staff. Every change is recorded with who made it.
How long
Records are kept while your family is enrolled and for the retention period the school sets for financial and school records. Ask the office to remove alert numbers or close an account.
